The information you provide Planepix
when ordering is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We
will never sell, trade, loan, license or give away your personal
information to anyone. If you check the "remember me" box when ordering,
you will not have to fill out your information again when you return to
make another purchase. Your information remains secure whether you check
this box or not. We also automatically receive certain types of information
whenever you interact with us. Examples of this information include the
Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the
Internet; browser type and version, operating system and platform, and
Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our Web
site. This information is analyzed in aggregate soley for the purpose of
making our site more useful to our visitors.
How It Works
When you make a purchase, we use a
secure link between your browser and our web site to encrypt and protect
your information. A "firewall" shields our database from any access by
outside parties. For additional security, we do not retain any credit card
numbers in our database.
Email from Planepix
We use your email address to let you
know that your order has been received and when it will ship. If you place
an order to be shipped outside the United States, we will email you with
the amount of additional shipping charges that apply before we finalize
your order. We also send occasional emails to those who have ordered, or
sent or received e-cards, from us in the past. Sometimes these emails
contain information that may be of particular interest to you. For example,
if you purchased a photo of a P-51D Mustang, we might notify you by email
when we have added a new photo of this type of plane. At other times these
emails might be of interest to all Planepix users, as in the case of a
discount offer. Although we require your email address to process your
order, you will always have the option to be removed from our e-mail
list at any time.
